WHAT IS YOGA THERAPY?
Yoga Therapy uses Yoga where there is a specific issue or health condition. It accommodates to the needs and ability of the person in question. I conduct my Yoga therapy sessions in one-on-one or small group settings. During a session we focus for example on Yoga for anxiety or Yoga for back pain. I provide Yoga therapy to complement other forms of treatment. Also, Yoga therapy treats a specific issue, whether physical, mental or emotional.
In Yoga therapy we use yoga postures specifically designed around health needs. These needs include breathing techniques, relaxation, meditation, guided visualisations (to calm the body and mind). But we also use breath cleansing, massages and sounds. All to improve our overall well-being. The holistic focus of yoga therapy promotes good health as a whole and integrates mind, body, and spirit.

One to one Yoga therapy available in Perranporth. If it is more convenient, Julie may be able to travel to your home, with an additional charge to cover travel expenses.
£45 for the initial 90 minute session.
£35 for the following 60 minute sessions.

Yoga Therapy NIDRAS
These nidras are some of my personal favourites. I selected these from the Yoga Nidra Network. Within this network you find a diverse collection of creative and original yoga nidra tracks, unlike anything else on the web.
There are live recordings, made in cities and yoga studios, in meadows and woodlands. Recorded in English, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish. Each one gives you a flavour of a particular application of yoga nidra, so you can see for yourself what a flexible practice it can be. I trust they bring peace, healing and joy into your life.

The yoga therapy and classes provided by Julie have been life changing. As a yoga novice, I was nervous and unsure what to expect however Julie has empowered me with so many breathing and meditation techniques that I can use outside of the yoga studio. She is passionate about what she does and I can’t recommend her highly enough.
Julie’s classes are strengthening, informative, knowledgeable and Julie’s ‘approachability’ and intuition gives a very supportive, relaxed, fun space to immerse your practice in. I have been lucky enough to have one-to-one sessions with Julie, and Yoga has many aspects as you know, mind, body and soul etc… But for someone to take the time and effort to listen to you and tailor a specific set of asanas, to practise in your own time, has improved my enjoyment of yoga at home at my own depth and speed, giving me clarity, motivation, routine and putting me back on ‘my path’.
