WHAT IS TRE?

TRE® stands for “trauma and tension release exercises”. It is an easy to learn, natural and powerful self- healing tool created by Dr. David Berceli. It helps us release deep muscular patterns of tension, stress and trauma. TRE safely activates an instinctive reflex mechanism of vibrating or shaking. Julie Yoga and Therapy provides TRE in Cornwall.

These neurogenic tremors calm down the nervous system and enable the organism to return to a state of balance. The tremors help us rid the body of aches and pains caused by deeply held tension in the muscles and their associated fascia. These vibrations improve the resiliency of our body because they enable deep relaxation, which naturally reduces stress levels and muscle tension. This natural and instinctive tremoring can release negative emotions ranging from mild upset to severe anxiety, whatever the cause.

ONE-TO-ONE SESSIONS

TRE & SOUNDS

TRE increases our capacity to regulate our nervous system and re-establish inner connections that were severed by life. Neurogenic tremors bring the fragmented pieces of our body together and support healing at the deepest levels of the body. This organic pulsation invokes our most primitive connection with the Earth and helps us go deeper within ourselves. We get back to our natural state of groundedness. Furthermore, we get rid of the barriers as we move towards a state of inner peace, connection and belonging to the Earth.

Sound healing is an ancient practice which offers healing on a mental, emotional and physical level. It’s equally nurturing and powerful. Sound healing encourages your own unique frequencies and rhythms to entrain with the healing frequencies of various instruments. When in a group, our nervous systems connect to each other and regulate towards each other. Our bodies and brain waves synchronise to reach a state of resonance. This enables us to feel grounded and gives our body a sense of connection with the Earth and energy fields around us.

During this unique workshop, you experience deep relaxation and a wonderful sense of peace and calm as your brainwaves begin to slow down to a relaxed alpha state. Feelings of inner peace and love will be heightened as we work on opening the heart centre. You feel grounded, centred and connected both within and to your surrounding environment as balance and harmony are restored. This gorgeous combination of healing vibrations and TRE is a truly wonderful and powerful experience not to be missed! Because of the nature of this practice, we can only open it to people who have already experienced TRE (neurogenic tremors) in private sessions or groups.
