Corsica Hike & Yoga Holiday

Six days of hiking, walking, Yoga and meditation in breath-taking landscapes, from stunning mountain tops and pine forests to picturesque villages and coastal areas. Corsica’s natural beauty provides a wonderful environment and scenery to unwind, rest & re energise mind, body and soul.
The brilliant Cinzia Morbiducci, a fully qualified and super knowledgeable and passionate mountain guide, has created the perfect trekking itinerary to show us the wonders of Corsica! As you can tell, I am a bit excited…
Our days will start with uplifting dynamic Yoga practices, mixing kriyas, warm ups, pranayama and postures. We will include a daily guided or silent meditation and end our walks with evening slow, restorative and nourishing sessions.
This 6 day and 5 night hike & Yoga is open to all abilities and levels of experience of Yoga, however, a good level of fitness is required for the hikes. This trip is limited to 12 places so please get in touch if you would like to join us.
Accommodation : guesthouses, hotels and one night camping (tbc).
Price €1050pp.

– Transfers from and to Ajaccio,
– The organisation of the trip, 10 Yoga sessions and daily guided meditations,

Itinerary: Day 1 – Monday 25th May:

Meeting in Ajaccio mid-afternoon and transfer to Quenza.

Evening Yoga session to relax, rest, unwind and recover from the journey.

Night in a guest house.  

Day 2 – Tuesday 26th May: Bavella’s secrets.

Morning Yoga before breakfast. A gently uplifting and energising session to get ready for the day.

A short 30 minute drive to Bavella, unmissable wonder of Corsica. One of the most famous and stunning passes of the island. After the well-known « trou de la bombe » we soon leave behind the hikers’ territory to discover that on the wild sheep. Coming out of the laricci pine forest to ascend a summit of that stunning serrated ridge and enjoy a breath-taking panorama. The most confident of the group will climb a few more metres to reach a 360° view of the sea and surrounding mountains… A true call to meditation…

Walking time : 4hrs and +/- 450 m elevation gain.

End of the day restorative Yoga, to relieve muscle tension.

Day 3 – Wednesday 27th May: Cuscione Plateau

Morning Yoga before breakfast. A gently uplifting and energising session to feel ready for the day.

A short 30 minute drive to the Cuscione plateau.  Looping across the plateau, through peatlands, beech forests and natural pools… Ascending en route, a small summit, which dominates the plateau. View of the northern mountain range as well as Ajaccio and Propriano gulfs.

Walking time : 4hrs and + 400 m and – 400 m elevation gain.

End of the day spring Yin Yoga, targeting the liver and gallbladder meridians, which support the body’s digestive and detoxification functions. 

Night in a guest house.

Day 4 – Thursday 28th May: L’Ospedale  

Morning Yoga before breakfast.

A short 45 minute drive to l’Ospedale.  Day of hiking a small summit of the extreme south, easily accessible and providing stunning view points of Porto-Vecchio gulf. River swim.

Walking time and elevation gain : variable according to chosen options and fitness of the group. Different walks available.

End of the day transfer to Bonifacio

Yoga on the beach!

Night in a hotel in the heart of the old town. Free evening.  

Day 5 – Friday 29th May:  

Morning Yoga before or after breakfast (tbc).

Walking along the granitic coastal southern end of the island, towards Senetosa lighthouse! From cove to cove… numerous swimming opportunities…

Yoga at sunset.

Night at the lighthouse, in a tent, dorm or double room.

Day 6 – Saturday 30th May:

Morning Yoga. A dynamic flowing Hatha practice.

Costal walk.  

Return to Ajaccio on Saturday afternoon.


Thanks for creating an environment where each of us could explore in a way which suited us individually.  I have come away with an enhanced awareness of and respect for my body and what it is telling me. I feel that I have moved on in my yoga journey in that I am now able to better incorporate my physical body into my mind/body/spirit practice.  I’ve realised that until now, I haven’t given it enough attention.  Thank you!   I really enjoyed learning TRE too. Having a technique which will enable healing of the many injuries I’ve sustained is a true gift. I loved the yoga nidra, your spontaneous chanting and the quotes and poems you shared. Finally, thank you for being uniquely you.
